Butch Jackson opened up with a story. Nothing new here. But on this day he may have out done himself. This in fact may be the most intriguing story of Butch's fabled story telling career. It went like this, "These next few weeks may be the best of times for our country or the worst of times. We will know soon. It was 99 years ago on April 15, 1912 the greatest cruise ship that had ever sailed the seas, the Titanic, sunk. They thought they were indestructible and blindly ran into an iceberg. On April 15, 2011 taxpayers of the greatest nation ever in this whole wide world dutifully wrote Barack Hussein Obama tax checks for $2.2 trillion."
"Barack suddenly realized that he was $1.3 trillion short of what he had promised to spend to get re-elected in 2012. Since he couldn't increase taxes immediately without approval of those pesky Republican House members, he realized he needs to continue borrowing money to meet his primary need to buy votes. His problem is that his bank has limited his credit to $14.294 trillion which they call a debt ceiling. So to borrow more he has to get Congress, including those pesky House Republicans, to agree to increase his credit limit or debt ceiling by another couple of trillion or so. Many of these silly new arrivals to Washington, called Tea Partiers, don't want to raise Barack Hussein's debt ceiling unless Washington agrees to quit spending trillions of dollars that their citizens and taxpayers don't have. These 'young gun' Republicans want either major spending caps or balanced budger legislation tied to the increased spending caps. Many are certain that if the tax and spend Dems aren't reined in now, they will spend the next 18 months buying votes for the 2012 election as the ship of state speeds toward bankrupcy."
"Like any ambitious yet incompetent community organizer Barrack Hussein called in his servants, in this case his bought and paid for Treasury Secretary from Wall Street, and asked, 'What do we do now?'. This little Wall Street guy named Timmie Geithner said, 'OK, here is the problem. We are spending $1.3 trillion more than we have. $430 billion of that is interest to our bankers for the money we have already borrowed. Let's tell Congress that we have to pay our debts whenever we receive the bills. We will tell them if we run out of money, which we will soon, and the lenders want their interest payments we can't pay them. Here is where it gets good. If we default and don't make these payments, then the entire financial system in the world will collapse. This is even better than what we told em when we passed TARP and Stimulus. This is our biggest crisis yet. Hell, even most of the dumb RINOS (Republicans in name only) will eat this up. I bet Jumpin John McCain will jump on it like Pelosi on a TV camera'."
"For some reason Barack Hussein then asked an unusual question for him, 'Is this story true?'. Little Timmie's answer was, 'sorta'. 'And in any case true or not, this is so complex, as always, no one will understand it anyway. The press will print what we say, and therefore we will make it true. Hell, Pelosi and Reid will even be able to get these talking points right. It might even wake old Biden up. So we just keep saying these radical extremist (not to be confused with Muslims) Tea Party Members are destroying the world economy by playing politics with the debt ceiling. We are saying that any prudent world leaders, like ourselves, would pursue deificit reduction on a parallet path from the dangerous path of fooling around with the 'full faith and credit of the Unitied States'. Meanwhile you can submit a budget that claims balance 15-20 years after you are safely out of office and running the UN. Meanwhile I am back on Wall Street shorting the dollar and making tons'. It just doesn't get sleazier, I mean easier, than this. How can a guy so short be so crooked?" Butch closed.
Billy Roy posed a question, "Is that the end of the story?"

However, some of those smart young pesky Republicans that can smell bull shit in the next county even without a wind has authored a little bill that says the Treasury has to put lender's claims like for interest ahead of all other payments. This would force the government to have to meet their obligations to lenders, and then force them to have to cut their spending to keep from running out of money. Either that, or raise tax rates which would reduce the $2.2 trillion that is currently being paid in tax revenues. You know when you raise tax rates you reduce tax revenues because taxpayers are smart. This Republican bill is just what the spending addicts who need to buy votes to feed their habit fear the most. That and smart voters."
"Well put, Butch. Damned accurate as well. You caught em red handed," Billy Roy roared his approval of Butch's mini-odyssey. "It is interesting that Hussein will not admit that if the government continues to borrow trillions on end to pay his voters without any semi-believable plan on how we will repay the lenders that we will default. He only screams we default if we don't borrow more. This is aimed at that 3-7 year old idiotic audience and those that are bought and paid for. And of course the press. If someone reaches their debt limit they can still refinance their debt, they just can't add more. And they have to pay the interest from their income. I think I've got it. This system has always worked and always will unless it is circumvented by traitors or crooks or, in this case probably, both. It does force one to 'live within their means', and Obama has said he is for that, right?"
Aunt Martha pulled some specifics off the Cafe's internet connection, "To take the Obama Administration’s threat off the table, Republican Study Committee (RSC) Members Tom McClintock, along with RSC Chairman Jim Jordan, Rep. Virginia Foxx, and Rep. Scott Garrett have introduced the Full Faith and Credit Act. It mirrors a bill in the Senate offered by Pennsylvania Republican Senator Pat Toomey."
"According to an RSC description of the bill, 'The Full Faith and Credit Act directs the United States Treasury, in the event the debt ceiling is reached, to pay principal and interest due on debt held by the public before making any other payments'.”
"Critically, the description notes, 'This bill would merely codify standard Treasury practice'. Looks like Geithner has lied again."
Billy Roy closed it down, "Senator Marco Rubio, who is becoming my number one hero, next to Merle Haggard of course, has proposed conditioning support of an increase in the $14.294 trillion debt ceiling to passage of the Balanced Budget Amendment. He is right to push, and I believe he can't push these scoundrels too hard. This is the biggest fight of our generation. Remember the words of Jefferson, 'he who governs least, governs best. At least we should be able to get down to $2.2 trillion of Washington governance. In fact, we must. There is no reason the world’s greatest nation, under God, should be destroyed for someone’s political gain. Let's get the word out. Hell, I am even goin to take it to the Hubbard City Drug Store. The Nation Sinks As It Watches the TV Battle of Dems and Dopes
Our current President looked the teleprompter straight in the eye and read this lecture to the American people, "We have to live within our means." He then lied that he would keep the deficit from growing from $14 trillion to $26 trillion by $4 trillion trick of smoke and mirrors. This on the same day we got news on his most recent budget reducing accomplishments.
The recent bad TV battle between Dems and Dopes (why Dopes? it will be obvious) provides a perfect example of how Washington really works. Today the House votes on the $38 Billion budget reduction for the five months remaining on the 2011 non-budget (there never was a budget). And when the Congressional Budget Office scored the impact of these big cuts, guess what. The CBO "confirmed that the legislation does indeed cut that much from what federal agencies are authorized to spend this year -- but the study reveals that it will only amount to a reduction of $352 million (that is with an m not a b) in government spending for the rest of this fiscal year. That's in part because a significant portion of the cuts come from authorized funds that won't be spent this year". So in most cases they cut out spending they weren't going to spend anyway. Instead of reducing this years spending by less than 1% they cut by less then one tenth of one per cent. Welcome to Obama, Reid, and Boehner's historic spending cut. Maybe the term "dope" is too kind.
When Obama took office he pledged to the International Community who borrows much of our debt that he would reduce our deficit by half by 2013. He pledged that again in his state of the union lie. The International Monetary Fund announced on Wednesday that the US "lacks a credible strategy to reduce its deficit and to reduce the debt by 50% by 2013 and it must take drastic action". The President's response was that he would not extend the Bush Tax Cuts AFTER 2012, AGAIN. This is the third time that he has pledged to not extend the Bush tax cuts. It's just like closing GITMO, AGAIN. Once Obama lies, you have to admit he sticks with it and keeps lying. Obama will always say he will do things to fix things as long as he doesn't have to do anything now. Now he votes PRESENT which is also a lie. He is ABSENT in his DERELICTION TO DUTY with every pledge he has made as President of the United States.
Now back to the President's speech to the Nation on debt reduction. Just when you thought this President could not get more idiotic, just when you thought this President could not insult the intelligence of the American people more, he stooped to a new low. The best news is surely this is rock bottom. Idiocy does not go below this. This speech was aimed at Democrats who have been "bought and paid for" and idiotic imbeciles. An idiot or imbecile is someone having a mental age of three to seven years.
First, the President lies that his plan will take a budget that will increase the nation's deficit or debt from the current $14 trillion to $26 trillion over the next 12 years, and he lies that he will take actions to reduce that to only $22 trillion. Now what mental age group do you think Obama targets with this logic. Now get this. His action plan is to give this speech calling for the establishment of commissions to come up with a plan. This is his new plan to follow his previous plan to set up a Deficit Commission who came up with a plan that he ignored. Yes!!! And he is going to close GITMO and cut the deficit in half buy 2013. A three to seven year old could get lost listening to this explanation in a speech that went on for what seemed like two or three days (Biden went even more unconscious than usual during this speech). A confused three to seven year old might even believe that this guy said something. After all the American people elected this guy President. And then there is the other group. Those that are "bought and paid for" (blacks, hispanics, welfare, unions, loan students, and government employees) don't care what he says. Just send the check.
The fact that there were no details to the claimed $4 Trillion cuts doesn't even matter. Obama plans to take no action before his 2012 re-election anyway. And even if the cuts were real, which they are not, this nation will still go bankrupt.
In summary, the stage is set for no action from Washington for the next year and a half except posturing and campaigning for the 2012 election. All while our deficit increases drastically, our foreign policy weakens our security and world leadership, and we move closer to government takeovers of our way of life. UNLESS dramatic action is taken by the Republican party in not increasing the debt limit, AND UNLESS the AMERICAN PEOPLE COME TO THE REPUBLICAN'S AID as they did during the 2010 elections.
Is there hope? Some. The tea party has it right. It is simple. They are for:
A Balanced Federal Budget
Smaller Federal Government
Lower Taxes
Strong National Defense
But if we do that, we reduce the checks of those that are "bought and paid for". They will fight. Will we?

DC Celebrates: As The Bankruptcy Train Stays On Track
It was mostly Butch on this not-so-bright morning at the Cafe, and he was at least semi-sarcastic, "We are saved. Our government isn't closing. In fact they are celebrating a 'historic' budget reduction which is the largest ever. Our President stepped in and brought us all together one more time. Harry Reid's cowboy poets didn't get their federal aid cut. The Liberals can continue to bankroll Planned Parenthood who is leading the way to provide abortion services to 40% of Black mothers. Obama can continue forcing 30,000,000 Americans to buy health insurance while destroying jobs, insurance companies, and the world's greatest health care delivery system."
"And the financial truth? This cut is about the size of one week's spending deficit. I repeat. Yep, it covers a little over one week of the 2011 deficit. The deficit this year will still be over $1.5 Trillion. In fact it reduces the 2011 budget by less than 1%. If your family spends $40,000 this year, and you cut your spending like this historic event you would cut by less than $8 per week. That is moving from a small T-Bone to a hamburger steak. If like the government your income is only $24,000 (60% of what you are spending),this historic cut back would reduce your borrowing from $16,000 to only $15,600 in the year 2011 saving about $20 a year in interest. So break out the beer in Hubbard and campaign is DC, it's celebration time."
"You would think this pathetic news couldn't get worse. So get this. Our courageous lawmakers don't even know where the cuts will take place. It was reported this weekend, 'Meanwhile, spending committee czars and their staffs are still laying out the specifics on the spending agreement, which will cut $38 billion over the next six months. The details are just starting to emerge, and lawmakers are realizing they've got a deal in hand, but not much else'. A deal in hand, saved us from shutting down the government, and our lawmakers don't even know what the details of the $38 billion cut are all about. And this was a budget that should have been finalized last October (7 months ago). Do the American people really want to give these guys control of our Health Care System, Financial Systems, Real Estate, or even our Car Companies? Do we really think these guys are going to lead us to energy independence from the Muslim World? Do we want them picking sides in the Middle East of every clash between the Shia and Sunni Muslims and putting our young men's lives at risk under the leadership of the UN or NATO? Do we thing these geniuses are going to outsmart the Chinese in world trade? Reminds me of the old Laurel and Hardy line, 'Ollie, what a fine mess you have us in'."
"Now we can move on to picking to shreds the Republican plan to reduce the federal budget by $6 Trillion versus the Obama plan of increasing the budget by $9 Trillion over the next 10 years. Just imagine what these morons like Pelosi, Reid, and Obama will do with this debate."

He will not sacrifice our investments in 'winning the future' by cutting education (teacher's unions) and clean energy (Algore, GE, and global warming pals), feeding and providing health care for the elderly and poor (scaring the elderly and welfare voters). He will support worker's freedom and rights to organized labor (Labor Union Campaign Contributors) and women's right to make choices about their health (single issue women voters who worship their rights to abortion). He will not offer the American dream as he protects the rights of all (particularly Hispanics and Muslims). And of most importance, Obama's proposals will not seem to hurt to much since nothing of consequence will happen until after his re-election in 2012 (including the tax increases on the rich and most of his punishing health care takeover provisions)."
Billy Roy's summary didn't bring much sunshine, "Butch, you seem to focus on the domestic stuff while I watch out for our security. Afraid my report this morning is no better. Rassmusen reports, 'Confidence in America's conduct of the war on terror has fallen to its lowest level in four-and-a-half years. A national telephone survey finds that just 32% of Likely U.S. Voters now believe the United States and its allies are winning the war on terror. That's down eight points from a month ago and the most pessimistic assessment since October 2006 (before the surge in Iraq). The current decline comes as support for the U.S. mission in Libya is also declining."
"Thirty-nine percent (39%) of voters now think the United States is safer today that it was before the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. That's down from 54% when President Obama took office."
Well at least Paul Ryan says we have time to fix the debt issue if we act soon, and it appears folks are waking up about the impostor in the White House.

Shut Down This Government and Lock the Door
The folks at the Cafe are shaking their heads about the budget debate going on this week. Butch opened the door, "Forty days ago the House Republicans passed a budget for the remainder of this year calling for a modest 1.6% reduction in the federal budget of $61 billion. With this cut we would just spend about $1.4 Trillion more than we have. Over these forty days the federal government spent $223 billion more than they have adding that amount to the deficit which either has to be printed or borrowed. And listen to what our liar-in-chief said following a joint meeting with Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader (punch drunk)Harry Reid in which no agreement on the budget was reached, 'I shouldn't have to shepherd this process through Congress'. In other words, he shouldn't have to lead. 'I shouldn’t have to oversee a process in which Congress deals with last year’s budget where we only have six months left – especially when both parties have agreed that we need to make substantial cuts and we're more or less at the same number'. What a liar. We are dealing with last years budget because back in October he and the Democratic controlled Senate and House did not want to pass a budget before the November elections. They wanted to put cuts off for the new Republican House. And then Obama says it is more or less at the same number? The Dumb Dems are at $31 million of UNSPECIFIED CUTS. Boehner calls it smoke and mirrors. The Republicans $61 billion cuts are SPECIFIED in a real bill that was passed by the House."
Billy Roy joined in, "Yesterday, President Obama said, 'the only question is whether politics or ideology is going to get in the way of preventing a government shutdown'. What a jerk? It has already gotten in the way, Mr. President. The fact remains that the House passed a budget, the Senate has not, and Democratic leadership is posturing for political gain hoping people will be dumb enough to blame Republicans for a government shut down which is really just a slow down. Obama says poor Americans won't be able to take their kids to Yellow Stone Park. With the deficits we are running each month I would say shut the sucker down and lock the door until the federal government starts balancing their budget like everyone else."
"Meanwhile today Obama took time out before he leaves for his fund raisers to talk to the Afghan leader about the burning of the Koran that happened two weeks ago. Seems that pissed Obama's Muslim friends off so at least 19 people have died and 100 people have been wounded in Afghanistan since Friday when the demonstrations began. In the deadliest incident, seven foreign United Nations staff members were killed in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif when protesters attacked a U.N. compound.
Obama and the commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, have condemned the Quran burning."
"Same day Cuba announced they will drill 5 new deep water oil wells in the Gulf, and since they don't have any rigs you know that Chavez or the Chinese are behind this. Looks like these guys along with Soros and Brazil are taking over Gulf oil. Then to top everything off the Libyan Rebels with the support of the UN and al Queda are complaining that when they call for air strikes from NATO that by the time the planes get there the targets are gone. Can you imagine letting al Queda call in NATO air strikes. They also say the Libyan military is not fighting fair. They want them to wear uniforms, get in their tanks, and get out in the open dessert so that NATO can blow them up."

In the deadliest incident, seven foreign United Nations staff members were killed in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif when protesters attacked a U.N. compound.
Obama and the commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, have condemned the Quran burning."
"Same day Cuba announced they will drill 5 new deep water oil wells in the Gulf, and since they don't have any rigs you know that Chavez or the Chinese are behind this. Looks like these guys along with Soros and Brazil are taking over Gulf oil. Then to top everything off the Libyan Rebels with the support of the UN and al Queda are complaining that when they call for air strikes from NATO that by the time the planes get there the targets are gone. Can you imagine letting al Queda call in NATO air strikes. They also say the Libyan military is not fighting fair. They want them to wear uniforms, get in their tanks, and get out in the open dessert so that NATO can blow them up."

Lies, Lies, and More Lies About the Obama Recession
It was all Butch on this day at the Cafe as he pulled his notes from his Wranglers:
"When the American people elected Obama President, they also gave him the country's scorecard. Combine Obama as the scorekeeper with a liberal media that worships this President and the hen house is in big trouble. And man, are the feathers flying. Take unemployment as reported to the American public. This is our President's stated number one goal, right? Obama believes if he can keep unemployment below 9% and possibly get it to 8% he can get re-elected and claim a victory for the way he stimulated us. Today the good news was announced that unemployment was "only" 8.8%. But, let's look at the facts. Non farm payroll employment increased by 192,000 in February (remember this number), and the published unemployment rate was little changed at 8.9 percent. The number of unemployed persons was (13.7 million). However when you look at the number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes referred to as involuntary part-time workers) these numbers also held at the huge number of 8.3 million in February. These individuals were working part time because their hours had been cut back or because they were unable to find a full-time job.
Additionally in February, 2.7 million persons were what they call marginally attached to the labor force, up from 2.5 million a year earlier. Notice how this 200,000 who quit looking is slightly larger than the reported 192,000 who were supposed to have started back to work. Now ain't that convenient. It keeps the unemployment number as 8.9%. These individuals were not counted in the labor force, even though they want jobs, were available for work, and had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months. They were not counted as unemployed because they had given up and had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the survey.
In other words when a worker has taken a part time job because they could not find a full time job and when other workers had given up looking in the last four weeks, these workers were DROPPED from the unemployment figures therefore reducing the reported unemployment rate.
Totaling those that are counted as unemployed (13.7 million), part time because they could not find full time jobs (8.3 million), and those who had stopped looking (2.7 million, the real unemployment number is 16% with a whopping 24.7 million Americans who are unable to find full time employment. For those from Mr. Calm, that is 1 out of every 6 workers. And for the last year the Obama administration has found some single statistic (they call 'em facts) to announce and spin as positive feedback that his $1 Trillion payoff of his Union friends and financial supporters is working. And then you get this BS that 'it could have been a lot worse'. Hell, I'm not even sure Hillary could have been worse. With this kind of math if you give Obama another 4 years all unemployed people will quit looking and the unemployment rate will go to zero.
On the cost of living side even though consumer prices are up 4.6% we are told inflation is under control. The Federal Reserve has been printing money like a counterfeiter drinking Thunderbird wine, and yet we are told inflation is under control. Why? The government announces inflation numbers 'adjusted' for food and gasoline. This means they don't count what you eat and put in your gas tanks when they give you the phony inflation numbers. Why? They say these are too 'volatile'. That is Obama-speak for 'not conducive to his re-election'. Facts: A gallon of gasoline cost $1.84 when Obama took office. It now averages $3.55 per gallon, an increase of 92% in two years. Yes, I know these have been two really, really long years but still that is a huge increase."
Most of us eat food on a semi-regular basis. A January, 2011 report said 'The Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) food price index hit a record high in December, 2010 topping 2008’s previous high when soaring food costs led to food shortages and riots in many parts of the world. The index, which measures the average price of a food commodity basket consisting of cereals, oils, dairy, meat, and sugar, was up for the sixth month in a row in December, to reach a high of 215 points, up from 206 points in November, and the highest since records began in 1990. And hell, with prices like that you should be able to put some ribs and fried chicken in that basket.
Bottom line, Obama has us in a deep hole with slow, slow growth and higher, higher prices. There is no debate about that. The only debate is whether he is doing this on purpose or is just incompetent."

Lies, Lies, Lies, and More Lies About Oil
"Obama has Pinocchio ears. Every time he lies they get bigger. After the last couple of weeks he can barely hold his empty head up," opened Butch in somewhat of a spirited fashion. "His big speech on why we are slaughtering Libya's military never even brushed up against the truth. He says we are there to stop the slaughter of the Libyan people. The truth is Italy, France, Spain, and the Brits have big oil deals with Libya that are threatened by the TRIBAL attempted overthrow of the Libyan government. That's why these NATO countries forced Obama to join them and do the heavy military lifting in the TRIBAL CIVIL WAR. These European countries are using the US, and now Canadian, NATO leadership to attempt to keep their oil supply lines manged by their oil companies from being hurt."

His fix, as always, consisted of a two pronged attack on our problem of importing 60% of our nation’s fuel from countries, many of which are imperiled by revolutionary radical Muslims. First he sets meaningless goals. Secondly, he insures failure by setting stupid government standards and regulations."
Butch had the numbers, "Try to top this deceit. His banner headline was to reduce our oil imports by 30% from when he took office to the year 2025. When he took office we were importing 11 million barrels per day. Let me tell you why he picked the 'when he took office' number, and what he didn't say. Because of declining US oil production as the industry has been hounded by the Environmental Protection Agency and because of increasing demand, net US imports of oil increased by 400% from 3.16 million barrels per day in 1970 to 12.04 million barrels per day in 2007. So from 2007 Bush got the number from 12 to 11 million barrels before Obama took office. And since Obama has been in office the Obama RECESSION has reduced our usage, and therefore the import number to 9.7 million barrels. So it has declined by 2.3 million barrels since 2007. Obama wants to take another 14 years to take the number down another 2 million barrels. Of all the Dems, Obama might be the worst of all in using selected half truth numbers to deceive the American people."
Billy Roy came back in, "And listen to this quote from his speech, 'But let’s be honest – it’s not the long-term solution to our energy challenge. America holds only about two percent of the world’s proven oil reserves (big lie). And even if we drilled every drop of oil out of every one of those reserves, it still wouldn’t be enough to meet our long-term needs. All of this means one thing: the only way for America’s energy supply to be truly secure is by permanently reducing our dependence on oil. We have to find ways to boost our efficiency so that we use less oil. We have to discover and produce cleaner, renewable sources of energy with less of the carbon pollution that threatens our climate. And we have to do it quickly'. Give em the numbers, Butch."
"Got it. Proven oil reserves in the United States are 21 billion barrels which is about 2% of proven reserves in the world. However, the U.S. Department of the Interior estimates the total volume of undiscovered, technically recoverable prospective resources in all areas of the United States, including the Federal Outer Continental Shelf, the 1002 area of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the National Petroleum Reserve–Alaska, and the Bakken Formation, total 134 billion barrels of crude oil. This would increase our reserves by 640%. This excludes oil shale reserves, as there is no significant commercial production of oil from oil shale in the United States and the United States has the largest known deposits of oil shale in the world, according to the Bureau of Land Management and holds an estimated 2.175 trillion barrels of potentially recoverable oil. Obama understates our reserve potential by as much a factor of 100X."

Instead he said he was pushing them to explore and produce where they currently have permits and his permission. Just so happens most of the time the government just gives permission to drill where there is little to no oil."
"And to top it all off Obama said, 'Another substitute for oil that holds tremendous promise is renewable biofuels – not just ethanol, but biofuels made from things like switchgrass, wood chips, and biomass'. He doesn't have a clue what the hell these stupid things are. I would like to stuff wood chips up his biomass. And then of course he got to his real reason for giving the speech. He started pimping for Algore and crew by pushing clean energy or using the wind and sun to power our future. He urges the government to spend more money to subsidize these experiments, plus even a bigger scam, he wants the government to pass more regulations forcing the use of green products. For example light bulbs with 70% less power that cost 3-4 more per bulb."
Scott Riddle added fuel to the fire, "His henchmen are as bad or even worse. Guys like energy secretary Steven Chu who has been recorded saying that we need to get the price of gasoline to $5 a gallon to make their green plan work. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar testified before the House Natural Resources Committee on the Department of the Interior’s Fiscal Year 2012 Budget proposal. When pressed by Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) about the de facto offshore drilling moratorium the Obama Administration has inflicted on his district, Sec. Salazar responded: 'When you look at the production within the Gulf of Mexico, even in the midst of the national crisis of the Deepwater Horizon, the production has remained at an all-time high.' This is total BS. According to the Energy Information Administration, the Obama offshore drilling moratorium will cause a 13-percent fall in domestic offshore oil production this year, which translates to a loss of about 220,000 barrels of oil a day. That means lower GDP growth for the nation, higher gas prices for all Americans, lower tax revenues for the federal government, and most importantly, fewer jobs for Americans living in the Gulf region. These folks can recover from the hurricane easier than this country can recover from Obama's energy plan."
Well all we know in Austin is that if you stacked this administration's lies for just one week on top of each other they would be even longer than this blog posting.
Think about it. Is our President honestly fulfilling his elected duty to protect our country from economic collapse with his energy plan?

Cafe Calls For Barack Hussein Obama To Stand Down
To no one’s surprise it appears the Hubbard City Cafe is the very first political organization to SERIOUSLY call for the impeachment of one Barack Hussein Obama. Grounds? The current President is clearly guilty of a gross Dereliction of Duty, and the Cafe is quite serious.
Though dereliction of duty generally refers to a specific military offense, the same term is used to describe an occurrence of an elected official failing to perform his or her elected duty. The result of dereliction of duty on the part of an elected official isn’t the same as the military consequence. Under military law, a person convicted of dereliction of duty can be given a dishonorable or bad behavior discharge from his or her branch of service, and may forfeit pay or be sentenced to six months confinement. Conversely, an elected official accused of dereliction of duty may not be reelected or may be impeached.
The definition of dereliction is "the shameful failure to fulfill one's obligations". The President of the United States has failed to fulfill his duty and obligations to the American people in the following areas:
1. The current President has failed to secure the borders of the United States from illegal aliens including drug traffickers, terrorists, and illegal workers. Additionally, the President has attempted to prevent the States from securing their borders by misusing the Justice Department to bring federal suits against his own citizens in Arizona (a state with 460,000 illegal immigrants) who passed SB1070, a law that basically tasks state and local law enforcement with helping enforce the federal immigration law that the President refusing to enforce. The President fears the enforcement of immigration laws would cost him votes in 2012 and the opportunity to pass amnesty legislation resulting in even more votes. At the same time, the President's “Justice” Department will not pursue blatant voter intimidation by the New Black Panther Party demonstrating extreme racial bias by the nation's highest ranking law enforcement officers.
2. The current President has been operating without a federal budget since his election to office enabling the President to create huge deficits measured in the Trillions of dollars placing our country on the verge of economic collapse. The President appointed a bi-partisan commission to advise the nation on our fiscal condition, and then blatantly ignored their recommendations in favor of "playing political games" motivated by the President's desire to be re-elected.
3. The President has clearly violated his oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" in pushing a Democratic Congress to violate legislative procedures in passing a government takeover of the Nation's health care system based on regulating interstate commerce even though health insurance cannot be sold across state lines. Additionally the plan forces citizens to buy a product (health insurance) trampling individual constitutional rights. Federal Judges have ruled this legislation unconstitutional.
4. While boasting of the United States' production of petroleum products the President has refused to propose a comprehensive energy plan to make us energy independent from foreign sources while sabotaging the exploration and production of coal, oil, natural gas, and nuclear energy. His actions include defying judicial orders to drop the ban on drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. The facts are the US oil industry produced 7.51 million barrels of crude oil per day in 2010 (this is the same as our production in 1955). Domestic production of crude oil peaked at 11.30 million barrels a day in 1970. Obama today, and environmentalist over the last 40 years, have sabotaged American efforts to achieve energy independence to the extinct of placing us in an economic crisis today that threatens this country's future.
5. The first duty of the American President is to defend our country against foreign enemies. The US, along with the free world, is under attack today from radical Islamists who have no loyalty except to their religious beliefs that through jihad they will establish an Islamic theocracy that will eventually rule a worldwide caliphate. Yet this President refuses to even acknowledge the enemy. No matter how many Muslim gunmen shout "Allahu akbar" as they mow down innocent non-Muslims Obama's party line is 'Islam is a religion of peace that has been hijacked by a tiny minority of extremists'. His attempts to close Gitmo, treat foreign terrorists as domestic criminals, harness the operations of the CIA, and support the overthrow of Middle East and Northern Africa governments in support of Islamic Jihadists place this country at great risks.
Additionally, the President has recently commited the US Military to combat in Libya without approval of the US Congress in clear violation of the Constitution. He has taken this action without any impending danger to the US. Those troops have been placed under the supervision of the United Nations who has no jurisdiction to lead US troops to war.
When you view these five cases of Barack Hussein Obama's actions, and inactions, one has to question his motives. Some feel he is consciously dismantling this Republic with hostile intent. Others feel he is a young, naive, inexperienced narcissist. And still others believe he is only a puppet whose strings are being pulled by powerful evil forces. There are serious questions about this President's background, his relationships with Socialists and Black Liberation Theology leaders, and even his work habits and ability to focus and concentrate on important events. All are serious and valid concerns.
No matter the motives behind Obama's dereliction of duty the non-functioning leader of the free world needs to stand down, and soon.
Lastly, unlike union thugs and Democratic Congressman in Wisconsin if impeachment charges against this President are taken it should be done in a lawful and peaceful manner. The great thing about our country is we do not have to take to the streets using TV cameras and violence to make the changes necessary to stay the greatest nation in the history of mankind.

The President fears the enforcement of immigration laws would cost him votes in 2012 and the opportunity to pass amnesty legislation resulting in even more votes. At the same time, the President's “Justice” Department will not pursue blatant voter intimidation by the New Black Panther Party demonstrating extreme racial bias by the nation's highest ranking law enforcement officers.
2. The current President has been operating without a federal budget since his election to office enabling the President to create huge deficits measured in the Trillions of dollars placing our country on the verge of economic collapse. The President appointed a bi-partisan commission to advise the nation on our fiscal condition, and then blatantly ignored their recommendations in favor of "playing political games" motivated by the President's desire to be re-elected.
3. The President has clearly violated his oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" in pushing a Democratic Congress to violate legislative procedures in passing a government takeover of the Nation's health care system based on regulating interstate commerce even though health insurance cannot be sold across state lines. Additionally the plan forces citizens to buy a product (health insurance) trampling individual constitutional rights. Federal Judges have ruled this legislation unconstitutional.
4. While boasting of the United States' production of petroleum products the President has refused to propose a comprehensive energy plan to make us energy independent from foreign sources while sabotaging the exploration and production of coal, oil, natural gas, and nuclear energy. His actions include defying judicial orders to drop the ban on drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. The facts are the US oil industry produced 7.51 million barrels of crude oil per day in 2010 (this is the same as our production in 1955). Domestic production of crude oil peaked at 11.30 million barrels a day in 1970. Obama today, and environmentalist over the last 40 years, have sabotaged American efforts to achieve energy independence to the extinct of placing us in an economic crisis today that threatens this country's future.
5. The first duty of the American President is to defend our country against foreign enemies. The US, along with the free world, is under attack today from radical Islamists who have no loyalty except to their religious beliefs that through jihad they will establish an Islamic theocracy that will eventually rule a worldwide caliphate. Yet this President refuses to even acknowledge the enemy. No matter how many Muslim gunmen shout "Allahu akbar" as they mow down innocent non-Muslims Obama's party line is 'Islam is a religion of peace that has been hijacked by a tiny minority of extremists'. His attempts to close Gitmo, treat foreign terrorists as domestic criminals, harness the operations of the CIA, and support the overthrow of Middle East and Northern Africa governments in support of Islamic Jihadists place this country at great risks.
Additionally, the President has recently commited the US Military to combat in Libya without approval of the US Congress in clear violation of the Constitution. He has taken this action without any impending danger to the US. Those troops have been placed under the supervision of the United Nations who has no jurisdiction to lead US troops to war.
When you view these five cases of Barack Hussein Obama's actions, and inactions, one has to question his motives. Some feel he is consciously dismantling this Republic with hostile intent. Others feel he is a young, naive, inexperienced narcissist. And still others believe he is only a puppet whose strings are being pulled by powerful evil forces. There are serious questions about this President's background, his relationships with Socialists and Black Liberation Theology leaders, and even his work habits and ability to focus and concentrate on important events. All are serious and valid concerns.
No matter the motives behind Obama's dereliction of duty the non-functioning leader of the free world needs to stand down, and soon.
Lastly, unlike union thugs and Democratic Congressman in Wisconsin if impeachment charges against this President are taken it should be done in a lawful and peaceful manner. The great thing about our country is we do not have to take to the streets using TV cameras and violence to make the changes necessary to stay the greatest nation in the history of mankind.
