Billy Roy kicked off the week with those immortal, yet very local words, "What's in the news, Butch?"
And surprise, surprise Butch had a pocket full, "Front page of most liberal papers broadcast 'Officials say Iran war less likely'. Now there is some real news. ‘Unnamed, anonymous administration sources’ (that would be Obama's campaign managers) seem to believe the meeting we held, in which nothing happened except the setting of another meeting a full month later, plus the UN sanctions were making military action less likely. The article even quoted an OUTSIDE analyst, Dennis Ross, who formerly handled Iran policy for Obama. Boy, it doesn't get more OUTSIDE than that. This article was backed by none other than the Viet Nam traitor, Senator John Kerry, who said, 'I have confidence there is a way forward'. And who doesn’t have confidence in John Kerry when it comes to the nation’s security? So what do you make of this BM?"
"Butch, I saw that article. This Dennis Ross said that even though there isn't an agreement between the US and Israel as to how much time we have before military action is required, there is agreement that, 'there is some time to give diplomacy a chance'. I would guess the Israeli's are talking weeks and months and Obama is talking NEVER. Certainly, Obama doesn't want any Israeli attack before the election. And if they attack after the election, I have big money Obama will not participate, and will blame Israel for any fall out."
"Meanwhile I have no doubt that Obama is up to some real dirty tricks in Israel. He is clearly stirring up unrest against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu within the opposing political parties in Israel. Netanyahu's term in office expires in October of 2013 while Obama's term runs out in November of this year. However in Israel it is common for them to call for elections earlier than the expiration of the term. So you can bet Obama is doing everything he can to try to tie the current Prime Minister up with a re-election in 2012 making it difficult to strike Iran prior to our election. Obama's press lackeys, the Associated Press, reported this weekend, 'Israel's own elites (that would be (Jewish Liberals) and the world community (that would be Obama and Iran) seem largely united in preferring Netanyahu's demise'. You can bet the Iranians are cheering those elites on."
Mom could wait no longer, "Could the press really believe that anyone in their right minds would think the Iranians will slow down in anyway in developing nuclear weapons and missiles to deliver them because of talks with Obama or any silly UN economic sanctions?" She was looking right at Billy Roy with this one.
"No Mam. The Associated Press doesn't believe it and they don't care as long as the scheme will help Obama's re-election efforts. In fact I will bet you the Iranians will fake a slow down in their race to nukes and drag out negotiations to gain time and bring pressure against Netanyahu. Obama will be in cahoots with the Iranian terrorists by praising their willingness to negotiate and will support lifting sanctions as the talks progress. It will all be a huge hoax."
Mom came back, "Yes and that hoax will result in the greatest threat we have to the free world. I can't think of anything worse than arming the Iranian Muslim Radicals with nuclear weapons that they can use on their Jewish and Arab enemies and can sell to other terrorists around the world. I think any sane person would believe this is a bigger threat than North Korea, China, Russia, Al Qaeda, or Syria, and yet it looks like Obama will treat it like any other of his dirty political tricks. He will lie, lie, and lie."
Butch's antenna came up, "Speaking of Syria, Obama said when he gave military support to the Libyan rebels, 'it was our responsibility to protect those threatened with massacre. To not do so would be a betrayal of who we are'. Sounds great, huh. Meanwhile, Assad in Syria is beyond the threatening stage and has massacred over 9,000 of his own people as Obama protects American Women against mean old Republicans. And what does skinny do with Syria but support UN travel and financial restrictions on those who use social media to track down dissidents. Can you believe it?"
"Yep," came back BM. "Obama is up to his old tricks. He acts as if our only possible actions against Syria are to support the UN's impotent initiatives (which will be voted down by the Russians) or to go to war by putting boots on the ground. As Maxine say's 'any sane person' knows this is a false choice. We could be arming and training the revolutionaries in support of their efforts while organizing additional support outside of the UN with those threatened by the Syrian/Iranian thugs. That would include every country except Russia, Iran, and Syria."
Aunt Martha even entered this exchange, "Obama is doing more than you outlined, Billy Roy. He has also appointed an Atrocities Prevention Board. That has got to send real chills up that mean old Assad’s spine, if he has one."

Obama Launches New Stealth Attacks On All Fronts
Billy Roy's exposure of Obama's War on America has Butch working overtime, "The Obama War on the US Economy is in steal mode but big time destructive. While Americans led by the Obama Media debate oil drilling and natural gas fracking in the US, Obama, the sabotaging magician, is shutting down oil refineries right and left. For example refineries on the East Coast of the US supply 40% of the gasoline sales and 60% of the diesel and other fuel oils. Of that, HALF that comes from refineries that Sunoco and Conoco Phillips have recently closed."
"When Conoco Phillips announced that it was closing the Trainer refinery, Willie Chiang, then Conoco Phillips' Senior Vice President of Refining, Marketing, Transportation and Commercial, noted that their decision to sell, like Sunoco's, was based on unfavorable economics 'caused by product imports, weakness in motor fuel demand, and costly regulatory requirements'."
"Obama is squeezing the refineries out by over regulating on one hand and supporting his United Steelworker contributors by demanding higher wages on the other hand (higher than the 3% annually they have been receiving). The strangling government regulations on the US oil refinery market has forced companies to re-evaluate the cost of doing business in the US."
"Why have operations in the US where you bleed money via regulations, when you can have refineries built in Columbia, Mexico or Brazil for pennies on the dollar, and less regulations? Besides..... our government has given BILLIONS to Columbia and Brazil to build refineries to process all that oil the US is losing. Lead times to react and create production and manufacturing are extremely long even without Obama's regulations which means by the time the nation wakes up it could be too late to catch up without crippling damage to the economy. In fact that is part of the Obama idiot pitch, 'Anybody that tells you that drilling now is going to reduce today's gasoline price isn't dealing with facts. There is no magic solution.' This guys statements are worse than slime. When you lie about everything as he does, then people become very accepting of lies. They think, 'that is just the way politicians are.'"
"Speaking of lies, did you see that the Obama administration has the 'text of an agreement' with Afghanistan that will determine how much money we give them for years after we leave in 2014. The agreement does not specify how much support we give nor what the support would be used for. Those little nitty gritty details will be released some time next year after the election. Meanwhile old skinny can campaign on his success in gaining an agreement from Afghanistan that he will say 'will insure the peace after HE has brought the troops home'. I don't know who should disbelieve an Obama agreement more, Americans or Afghans? At least he is consistent as he will lie to both sides as long as it weakens the US internationally."
"The best news I've heard in a while comes from the Catholics. They are really up in arms about Obama's War on Religious Freedom. Many of their leaders are calling for Catholics to go to the polls. One recently compared Obama to Stalin and Hitler. Both used their dictatorial powers to drive the Church out of charity work including health care in forcing people to be dependent on the government instead of the Church. This is exactly what Obama plans. Let's hope the other denominations suck it up and get on board with the Catholics. It wouldn't hurt if the Jews even joined in since we are Israel's only friend and protector. But that might be asking too much. The Catholics are asking their followers to base their election choices on three issues: life (that would be anti-abortion for you guys in Mt. Calm), the sanctity of marriage (you know the man and woman only thing), and religious liberty (like the founders intented)."

I heard Mary Matalin (wife of the serpent headed consultant to sleazy Bill Clinton, James Carville) and Liz Cheney talking about how Obama wanted to redistribute wealth by raising the capital gains rate. Everybody knows, including Obama, that raising the capital gains rate reduces tax collections to the government and slows economic growth. This isn't redistribution. This is just another crippling blow to the economy, and that is his INTENT . He doesn't care about the poor as much as he cares about bringing down this bad 'colonial empire'. If we don't even know our nation's number one enemy's INTENTIONS, we will suffer greatly as we under react. More than anything else we need to not be so timid. I am sick of hearing how 'American's like this President, they just don't like his policies'. I am even sick of hearing how good looking and articulate he is. Neither of these things are true. We don't like him, and he is really an ugly dude what with the big ears and everything. We need EXPOSURE of not only his actions, but also his INTENTIONS. He doesn't have policies. The Obama War On Our Economy: Taxageddon
Seemed like a pretty slow day at the Cafe so Billy Roy, as he is apt to do when he is semi-bored, turned to Butch Jackson who is never bored if he can have the opportunity to listen to himself, "Butch, what is newsworthy these days that really matters? Seems the press is cluttered with Obama's 'junk' campaign issues. Big stuff like a new dead-on-arrival tax on ECONOMIC PRODUCERS and his heart rendering stories of his drug youth when he had to get help (a free ride) from the government to get his education (not only were records never released to the public, he and his wife gave up their cherished licenses to practice law for semi-unknown reasons).”

Some are calling it, 'TAXAGEDDON'. Well in only 8 short months this nation's economy will be destroyed by a huge tax avalanche, and it has nothing to do with the hypocrite, zillionaire Warren Buffett nor his secretary. They, like many others with names like Clinton, Gore, Soros, and General Electric are in Obama's tank. This means they are positioned to profit big time as the US economy is destroyed. (3) The patch on the Alternative Minimum Tax expires punishing middle class taxpayers. This was the government's first version of the 'Buffett Rule' to punish PRODUCERS. It now impacts 38 million Americans, most of which are in the middle class. Why? No adjustments have been made to move the limits up with inflation. Cute!
(4) The ability for businesses to fully expense capital investments expires slowing business expansion even more.
(5) The tax cuts from the 2009 stimulus expire on taxpayers in lower brackets.
(6) On top of all that, Obamacare's new taxes will arrive, and we still don't know to what extent but they will be huge.
(7) Even the death tax will rise to 55 percent while the exemption will fall forcing those who inherit small farms and businesses into liquidation to pay their taxes.
(8) The Federal Reserve will continue to print money while food and oil prices escalate to devalue every American's hard earned assets (this is a tax on everyone).
(9) The marriage penalty returns.
(10) Meanwhile, the possibility of an Obama re-election is creating uncertainty in tax policy causing job creators to take a step back prior to year end not hiring, nor expanding since they don't know what the future will hold.'
"Experts say this will add $3,800 to the tax burden of an average family. I think it will be way larger than this. BM, do you think I’m over-hyping this thing?"

When Obama pushed through his super-committee farce to get his debt ceiling raised so he could finance his skyrocketing deficit, which has increased by over $5 trillion since he polluted the White House with his arrival, he was forced to make spending cuts by the half-smart Republicans. So he said half of the cuts must come from Defense which is another of Obama's 'balanced' programs which is really a flat out Obama War on the Military. These cuts must begin in 2013 as well."
"Look at the timing. Obviously these calamities have been pushed by this traitorous President past his re-election. Let's look at the scenario. After the election in November the Congress will have to go into a lame duck session since many of the politicians will have been voted out or retiring. So a crippled Congress will have to act within 30 days or so to avoid these catastrophic blows to our economy. If Obama is re-elected it is quite clear by now he will insist on 'a balanced approach' knowing Republicans will not go along. The results will be a gridlocked government as we go over the cliff or the Republicans will have to crater, but we still go over the cliff just not as fast. If Romney is elected, he has the same 30 days to try to push through legislative fixes. Even if he has a supportive Republican Congress, the results will be at best poor, legislation in that no legislature can act efficiently in such a short time period."
"Now back to the big issues if Obama is re-elected, does any sane person think that an economy staggering along at a 1.5% growth rate with 15 million unemployed workers and a $15 trillion national debt growing at almost $2 trillion a year can survive these taxes on workers, job creators, and the ancestors of the deceased (THE PRODUCERS)? The answer is obviously by Obama's own design, NO. And a growing economy is our only way out of this mess, along with real spending cuts.”

Where will he place the blame? Old rich, white, greedy businessmen. And, of course, George Bush's failed policies!!"

Obama Attempts To Enlist Women In His War on America
Mom and Aunt Martha put on the pads and suited up knowing the topic of WOMEN would be debated at the Hubbard City Cafe last week, what with the comments of Hillary Rosen stirring up dust down the main street of Hubbard City. (What is with these women named Hillary, anyway?)
When the topic didn't come up, Mom was the instigator, "So, Billy Roy, just how does this 'War on Women thing' relate to your belief that President Obama's sole purpose in life is to do everything he can to destroy what he thinks is a Colonial United States by weakening it spiritually, economically, and militarily?"
"I thought you would bring this topic up, and so I have tried to connect the dots. Let's start with how Obama is trying to use women in the spiritual debate. He started this by saying the Catholic Church was part of a Republican War on Women by refusing to provide contraceptives, including morning after abortion pills, FREE in their insurance plans. Obama's intent is to try to use women to divide religious institutions between the liberals, who care about women, and the conservatives, who mistreat women. Of course any person of any intelligence knows the real issue isn't contraceptives or women's rights. The real issue is RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AS GUARANTEED BY THE CONSTITUTION."
"In Obama's War on Christianity it is critical that he break down the American family unit if possible while weakening religious organizations. Obama has a lot of help in this area from people like 'the Hillarys'. Hillary Rosen is an avowed Lesbian. Wondering What Per Cent of The American Electorate Are For America, Anymore?
News from the Hubbard City Cafe has been pretty slow what with Billy Roy Mitchum being recognized last week as Citizen of the Year by the Hubbard Chamber of Commerce. Seems there was some roasting that went on at the meeting, and BM, being the sensitive type that he surely is, has been a little slow recovering. You know the kind of things that are said at meetings like this. Things like if BM was the self made man many say he is and that if he really had that kind of power, he would have built a hell-luv-a better thing than a Billy Roy Mitchum.
Well the good news to some is that he is back coffeeing at the Cafe and chairing daily sessions mostly political in nature. Mom was anxious to get back in the swing of things so she started, "What are the big things going on in Washington? What should we be hoping for and what are they changing?"
"Good question, Butch, what is on the front page," Billy Roy, as you all know, doesn't like to go first.
"The real truth about JOBS and and the economy oozed out to some degree on Friday, but you have to be Sherlock Holmes to understand it. First, folks need to know that for this country to get back to a truthful and honest minimum of 6% unemployment we need to create 300-400 thousand jobs a month for a good 2 to 3 years. We had been limping along creating 200 thousand or so each month and then reducing the size of the work force to make it look like we were making better progress than we really are. In March we only created a little over 100 thousand jobs. The cheaters keeping books had to claim that over 250 thousand people dropped out of the workforce so they could claim unemployment dropped to 8.3%. With the economy growing at an annual rate of only 2-2.5% this makes this recovery the slowest in history. Without recovery we can't put the 13 million folks back to work. Obama has to cook the books to show some improvement so he can plea to voters 'don't stop us in our recovery' when we should have already recovered from the '07 recession. So this slow limping along of the recovery is a key part of Obama's plan to destroy the US economy since our deficit continues to soar at pace of over $1 trillion each year of his reign. Given another four years, we become a huge Greece like disaster where the suicide rate of those losing pensions and assets is sky rocketing."
Scott Riddle, local cattle czar and insurance tycoon, chimed in, "Gasoline, even in Waco, was selling at $3.89 a gallon. You can imagine what the dummies in California and Illinois are paying. Prices have more than doubled since Obama hoped for higher prices and made changes to our energy regulations. An economist recently said his study showed that for every $.01 (that would be one cent) the price goes up at the pump it takes $1.5 Billion out of our disposable spending. This is money people can't spend on other things like food, shelter, and doctor bills. That would be over $270 billion that Obama has taken out of the U.S economy just by enabling higher gasoline prices. This is anther huge ploy to weaken and destroy the US economy as he argues,' there is really nothing the President can do'."
Mom pushed on, "Billy Roy, I know you feel Obama not only wants to weaken us economically but also spiritually and militarily. Any big news in these areas recently."
"Good question, Maxine. News about Obama's attack on religious freedom is being waged under the Obama mainstream media banner of a Republican War on Women. An idiot pitch doesn't get dumber than this, and yet some people are falling for it. The recently ordained American Catholic Cardinal Dolan spoke more directly than the church has ever spoken against a political leader in saying Obama was using the insurance issue in an attempt to divide the Catholic Church between conservatives and liberals. Obama's vehicle for interfering in religious freedom is Obamacare. He sees Obamacare as his Trojan horse to gain access and control to higher taxes and more government control over the life of every citizen. So the Obama war to destroy our Judea/Christian roots are in full attack mode. He is aiming his deceit right at women, gays, unions, minorities, and non-taxpayers."

While Obama's folks were negotiating with the Afghan government that our military would have to get permission from an Afghan committee before they could raid suspected Taliban terrorists, the North Koreans were launching long range missiles and planning their next underground nuclear tests while negotiating with Obama for huge gifts of food if they would just talk about de-nuking, and while the Syrians agreed to a cease fire they also escalated their attacks on protesters, I repeat, while these things were going on, our crack Secretary of State, Sir Hillary, was talking tuff---and I mean big time!"

Everything is on the table.' Wow that will send a chill up the skirts of those extremist Muslim Clerics. Meanwhile when the Israeli foreign secretary was asked the same question, he said, "Your Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, said the Iranians could have nukes by the end of 2012. If this is true all nations will then be at risk from major terrorists threats, complete instability with the world's primary source of oil, and from economic disruptions worldwide. And I haven't mentioned the threat to Israel alone.' In other words, Sir Hillary is shooting Obama loaded blanks at the Iranian Muslim terrorists."
Even Mom could sum this one up. "It appears that as Obama spends millions, and aided and abetted by his State Sponsored Mainstream Media, in efforts for re-election, he continues to destroy this country economically, spiritually, and militarily?"
BM relished the question, "Yep, and we ain't seen nuthin yet. As Obama told Medvedev, the Russian President, when he thought his mike was off, 'Missle defense can be solved, but it is important to give me space....This is my last election. After my election, I have flexibility.' As we know Obama wants to destroy our military leadership throughout the world. In missile-defense we has a huge lead in technology. As bad guys like the North Koreans and Iranians get long range missiles with nuclear warheads, missile defense will be critical to the free world. And Obama wants to negotiate it away to the Russians who have nothing to offer in return as their nuclear arsenal becomes more and more obsolete. Reagan bankrupted the Soviets. Now Obama wants to bankrupt the US so that no country has an advantage of any other. He doesn't care, nor can he tell, the good guys from the bad guys since he has no moral compass. Obama should be impeached just for his intentions alone. And Rasmussen says he is leading Romney in the polls."

Obama May Be In Deep Trouble... with Chief Justice John Roberts, US Supreme Court

According to sources who watch the inner workings of the federal government, a smack-down of Barack Obama by the US Supreme Court may be inevitable.
Ever since Obama assumed the office of President, critics have hammered him on a number of Constitutional issues. Critics have complained that much, if not all of Obama's major initiatives run headlong into Constitutional roadblocks on the power of the federal government. Obama certainly did not help himself in the eyes of the Court when he used the venue of the State of the Union address early in the year to publicly flog the Court over its ruling that the First Amendment grants the right to various organizations to run political ads during the time of an election. The tongue-lashing clearly did not sit well with the Court, as demonstrated by Justice Sam Alito, who publicly shook his head and stated under his breath, 'That's not true,' when Obama told a flat-out lie concerning the Court's ruling.
As it has turned out, this was a watershed moment in the relationship between the executive and the judicial branches of the federal government. Obama publicly declared war on the court, even as he blatantly continued to propose legislation that flies in the face of every known Constitutional principle upon which this nation has stood for over 200 years.
Obama has even identified Chief Justice John Roberts as his number one enemy, that is, apart from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity and so on. And it is no accident that the one
swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, stated recently that he has no intention of retiring until 'Obama is gone.' Apparently, the Court has had enough. The Roberts Court has signaled, in a very subtle manner, of course, that it intends to address the issues about which Obama critics have been screaming to high heaven. A ruling against Obama on any one of these important issues could potentially cripple the Administration. Such a thing would be long overdue.
First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution limits the FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things, and further, not everyone has to drive, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle. In the ObamaCare world, however, no citizen can 'opt out.'
Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama's history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President. The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii. ..
And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court. Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years. Nixon and the Watergate conspirators look like choirboys compared to the jokers that populate this Administration.
In addition, the Court will eventually be forced to rule on the dreadful decision of the Obama DOJ suing the state of Arizona. That, too, could send the Obama doctrine of open borders to an early grave, given that the Administration refuses to enforce federal law on illegal aliens.
And finally, the biggie that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party. The group was caught on tape committing felonies by attempting to intimidate Caucasian voters into staying away from the polls. A whistle-blower who resigned from the DOJ is now charging Holder with the deliberate refusal to pursue cases against Blacks, particularly those who are involved in radical hate-groups, such as the New Black Panthers, who have been caught on tape calling for the murder of white people and their babies. This one is a biggie that could send the entire Administration crumbling--that is, if the Justices have the guts to draw a line in the sand at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Obama certainly did not help himself in the eyes of the Court when he used the venue of the State of the Union address early in the year to publicly flog the Court over its ruling that the First Amendment grants the right to various organizations to run political ads during the time of an election. The tongue-lashing clearly did not sit well with the Court, as demonstrated by Justice Sam Alito, who publicly shook his head and stated under his breath, 'That's not true,' when Obama told a flat-out lie concerning the Court's ruling.
As it has turned out, this was a watershed moment in the relationship between the executive and the judicial branches of the federal government. Obama publicly declared war on the court, even as he blatantly continued to propose legislation that flies in the face of every known Constitutional principle upon which this nation has stood for over 200 years.
Obama has even identified Chief Justice John Roberts as his number one enemy, that is, apart from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity and so on. And it is no accident that the one
swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, stated recently that he has no intention of retiring until 'Obama is gone.' Apparently, the Court has had enough. The Roberts Court has signaled, in a very subtle manner, of course, that it intends to address the issues about which Obama critics have been screaming to high heaven. A ruling against Obama on any one of these important issues could potentially cripple the Administration. Such a thing would be long overdue.
First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution limits the FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things, and further, not everyone has to drive, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle. In the ObamaCare world, however, no citizen can 'opt out.'
Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama's history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President. The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii. ..
And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court. Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years. Nixon and the Watergate conspirators look like choirboys compared to the jokers that populate this Administration.
In addition, the Court will eventually be forced to rule on the dreadful decision of the Obama DOJ suing the state of Arizona. That, too, could send the Obama doctrine of open borders to an early grave, given that the Administration refuses to enforce federal law on illegal aliens.
And finally, the biggie that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party. The group was caught on tape committing felonies by attempting to intimidate Caucasian voters into staying away from the polls. A whistle-blower who resigned from the DOJ is now charging Holder with the deliberate refusal to pursue cases against Blacks, particularly those who are involved in radical hate-groups, such as the New Black Panthers, who have been caught on tape calling for the murder of white people and their babies. This one is a biggie that could send the entire Administration crumbling--that is, if the Justices have the guts to draw a line in the sand at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Even Idiots Would Vote 9-0 Against Obamacare
Billy Roy Mitchum, a.k.a. the Chairman of the Hubbard City Cafe, called the court to order on this Monday morning coffee session of some importance. The subject of course was the same one before the Supreme Court on this very day, that being Obamacare, or as the lefties who coffee at the Hubbard City Drugstore call it, The Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act of 2010. "Kick us off on this thing, Butch. Just what is this thing all about? With a name like that I have this feeling of urgency to hold onto my wallet."
Not guilty of understating things Butch Jackson, who collects facts, figures, and other tidbits of some importance and of some unimportance, did a full gainer into the issue at hand, "This case before the Supreme Court goes way beyond our wallets and probably is the most important issue to the future of this very nation. If Obama and our nation's greatest enemies who want to destroy and disrupt the American free enterprise system win, the destruction of our individual liberties and our nation's economy may become irreversible. It will signal that this country has crossed a threshold where the moochers are in the majority, even at the Supreme Court, and the producers are a minority causing the destruction of what has been the greatest country the world has known. To make this real simple the politicians like Obama are hellbent on convincing their voters that health care is a government given right and that it should be provided to those moochers who can not, or choose not, to buy it by the producers who are not paying their fair share."
"Butch, I think you jumped right to the main issue. I do believe on most things, and particularly on health care, the government over promises and under delivers, runs out of money, and then blames service providers (doctors, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, state governments, etc.). Lastly, the government then actually rations care by underpaying these same service providers who they claim are too greedy. The poor patient is far from protected as advertised. They wind up with poorer care and higher costs just opposite from what the politicians advertise. Everybody loses, which is Obama's intent being the the anti-colonialist that he is. Obama's plan is clearly to force everyone to buy insurance, to drive up the costs to the insurance companies, and to then blame the insurance companies for the rationing that has to follow. He then would put in place a single payer government run plan to replace the insurance companies and destroy the greatest medical industry in the world. He would dumb down a medical system which has dramatically increased life expectancy among other accomplishments. Obama will take over 1/6 of this country's economy bringing it down to the level of the rest of the world, and he will do this without ever firing a shot. He believes the US shouldn't have better health care than Kenya and the rest of the world."
"So Butch, how will this play out with the court?"
"Today, the court will hear arguments that the court should not be ruling on Obamacare because it is a mandated tax on those who do not buy insurance. The argument is that the court can not rule on tax policies until they are put into effect. The mandate doesn't go into effect until 2014."
"But I thought Obama claimed this wasn't a tax when he tried to sell it the folks in 2010? Didn't he say it was a 'fine' instead?"
"Right on , BM. He did say that before he then changed because he hopes the tax issue works better with the high court. Remember HOPE and CHANGE? Obama will change the truth in a minute is he hopes it will help him bring you and me to our knees."
"This guy is really a slime ball. On day two I understand the court will hear arguments about the big issue. That being can the federal government use the Interstate Commerce Clause to force citizens to buy a product. This is called the Mandate. If the court rules that citizens are not protected from mandates like this then I guess I would have the question just what rights are protected by the Constitution? We would be just a few steps away from having to buy electric cars, solar power generators, and eating sprouts in our salads like those idiots in California. Hell my guess is they would be just around the corner from forcing some government selected percentage of us into same sex marriages, like it or not."
Butch loves it when Billy Roy makes extrapolations like that. "No doubt but this slope would go beyond slippery if the court goes hay wire. This could get slicker than goose poop on hot pavement. The third day the court hears arguments as to whether Obamacare is constitutional if the mandate is excluded. In other words if I can't force the cows to drink, can I still force them to the water?"
BM started summing up since most of the coffee drinkers were long gone as they suffered from severe apathy and needing to get back to their important activities and stuff, "This like most big political issues today is about freedom. Our founders knew the only way our Republic could survive was if people were not only free to act, but to think as well. Most folks think even Supreme Court Justices don't think these days. The four Libs vote one way while the four Conservatives vote the other way, and the one Moderate named Justice Kennedy swings according to what side of the bed he got out of that morning. These guys like most of us are not independent thinkers, but thoughtless, gutless sheep. What a shame. Wouldn't it be great if the justices were honest enough to vote 9-0 that this stupid government takeover clearly violates the Constitution as written by our founding geniuses? Any idiot knows you can't force someone to buy insurance if they don't want to. Free people are accoutable for their actions. No insurance, no assistance with your health care bills. Wouldn't it be great if our Supreme Court Justices were as smart and as honest as an idiot? Wouldn't it be great is one time they would rule against moochers?"
