Obama Administration On Trial

Butch Jackson sometimes thinks that the use of big words, words like sovereign, get in the way of understanding right from wrong. Butch thinks these big words have become hard to understand because our schools have been somewhat dumbed down as not to discriminate against anyone. But on this day education was not the main topic at the Hubbard City Cafe.

The fact that the United States of America went to war against the world's greatest power at the time, that being the British, to gain our independence or sovereignty was the topic of the day. "A sovereign state or country is independent and not under the authority of any other country or world organization," Butch launched his opening remarks. "So why in the world do smart ass lawyers and idiots like the ACLU want to prosecute American Heroes like these Navy SEALs that allegedly punched a terrorist? Although every human being wants to be free and secure, there aren't many today like these SEALs that will actually fight, or even die, for their country's sacred rights to remain strong and independent so that we can defend, when necessary, freedom throughout the world."

Joe Barger Heard had a question, "Great speech, Butch, but does anyone know what the heck put this burr under his saddle?"

Billy Roy came in like A good Chairman should, "I think I do. In 2004 Islamic Terrorists captured four Blackwater employees in Fallujah, Iraq, murdered them and dragged the mutilated bodies around in the streets of the city, then burned and hung them from a bridge. The murderers gathered to celebrate and have their photos taken with the trophy. Navy SEALs have since secretly captured the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of these four Blackwater USA security guards. The three SEALs who captured this scumbag are now facing criminal charges. Seems like the scumbag terrorist says the SEALs either punched him in the lip or stomach or hopefully both. Also, it is my observance that Butch is becoming a real 'Constitutionalist', tying most if not all things to the Progressives attack on our Constitution."

"You got it, BM," Butch regained the speaking platform. "Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges. I've got their names right here. Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault. Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement. Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation. The three were given an opportunity to basically plead guilty without punishment, but insisted on being heard in a court-martial. By the way, the scum bag's name is Ahmed Hashim Abed. Our Military, trying to please their Politically Correct leaders, don't even understand who is really on trial here. It ain't the Seals, but the Obama Administrtion that is on trial in the court of popular opinion."

Mom had a comment, "Seems like we have gone from speak softly but carry a big stick to whisper and don't even use a switch."

Butch returned to his Constitutional defense, "This is a perfect example of how the Progressive Libs are attacking our Constitutional Principles of sovereignty, security, and freedom with their efforts to push their constantly changing views of Social World Justice. They hate our Military and our leadership position in the world. They 'lawyer up' anyone who can assist them in painting Americans as evil bullies destroying the tranquil peace in places like the Middle East. Lawyers want to give American legal rights to murdering battlefield combatants who will indiscriminately kill innocents just to bully and terrorize. The political elite's intent is to gain control, and if successful, they will destroy our way of life."

Joe Barger pushed in, "I've got it now, and I am not surprised our 'community organizer' has brought politics to the battlefield. All an enemy combatant has to do now is complain they were mistreated, and in this case, they take three heroic soldiers off the battlefield. By the way, did you see the latest from Obama. He said America's being a big old superpower is a real burden to him."

"I've got it right here," Butch jumped back in quoting Big Barry, " 'When conflicts break out, one way or another, we get pulled into them. And that ends up costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure.' Even a Moderate like John McCain, went crazy, 'The remark represents a direct contradiction to everything America believes in. That's one of the more incredible statements I've ever heard a president of the United States make in modern times. We are the dominant superpower, and we're the greatest force for good in the history of this country, and I thank God every day that we are a dominant superpower.' I would imagine John would like to give his Communist capturers more than a bloody lip if given the chance. Poor John can't even lift his arms because of the torture he received in Nam."

BM couldn't resist a summary, "The closest thing to torture Obama has experienced is when he has to speak without Mr. Teleprompter. Even then, it is harder on his audience than on him."

Think about it,
