J. D. Phellps, owner/operator, and part time philosopher, at the Hubbard City Gas Station, chose July 4th to hoist a white flag above his station. When questioned by Aunt Martha for her Hubbard City News publication, the totally distraught oil man said, "I have completely and totally surrendered with no demands, terms, or conditions. I am at my wit's end, and unable to continue the fight against Liberals."
J. D. is a long time Conservative and has never voted anything but a straight Republican ticket---- until now.
As the flag unfurled in the Central Texas breeze, Aunt Martha could barely make out the tear stained writing:
PLEASE BRING BACK BILL CLINTON
