Cafe Advising Limbaugh and Republican Leaders

It seems everybody is listening to the Hubbard City Cafe Folks these days. Here is a copy of an email from Limbaugh after having received advice from the folks.

Here is a copy of the email you just sent to Rush Limbaugh, The Doctor of Democracy

Rush, I know you think the recently Obama requested Health Care meeting with Republican leaders is a trap. Based on your request, here is the strategy to turn the tables on Obama. Surprised you missed this one since it is so obvious and simple. When the Republicans meet with Obama on health care all they have to do is hold up the following poll and say, "The people have spoken."

"The American People want us to start from scratch to reform health care and throw away the existing two plans in the Senate and House. We Republicans are going to listen to the American people and not go against their will. If you insist on building on the existing plans that are rejected by the American People, you will go forward alone."

Rush, here is the Rassmusen poll.

Health Care Reform
61% Say Congress Should Start All Over Again on Health Care
Thursday, February 11, 2010

President Obama this week called for a televised bipartisan summit to get his health care reform plan back on track, but 61% of U.S. voters say Congress should scrap that plan and start all over again. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds just 28% who think it is better to build on the health care plan that has been working its way through the House and Senate. Support for and opposition to the existing plan remain at the same levels they’ve been at since just after Thanksgiving.

Only 35% of voters believe Congress should pass health care reform before the upcoming midterm elections anyway. Fifty-four percent (54%) say Congress should wait until voters select new congressional representatives in November.

Rush, call us anytime because we are always thinking,

  1. I suspect a larger percentage of the American public would request that government stay out of the health care business and get back to the business of protecting our liberties and property.
