Margaret Thatcher said, “Socialists eventually run out of other people’s money.” The folks at the Hubbard City Café think that Obama is counting on it.
Billy Roy Mitchum, in an unusual appearance, actually initiated conversation at the Café this particular week, “It has to be clear even to a half drunk casual observer from Limestone County that Obama’s agenda is well thought out, orchestrated, and on track. His formula is good old fashioned Socialism consisting of the following:
1. Tax the Producers (examples and proof would include cap and trade, so called tax reform, and taxes on energy)
2. Over-regulate the Producers (Not only through agencies like Environmental Protection, Interior, and Health, Education, and Welfare, but through the many Czars he has appointed reporting directly to the White House (see next blog for a list))
3. Direct Government Takeover (the American auto industry except for Ford, Obamacare is a well laid out plan, and the financial TARP bailout)
4. Redistribute Wealth (so called tax reform, nationalizing health care, expanding welfare, causing and extending unemployment, and sponsoring public sector collective bargaining)
5. Control the Legal System (pack the courts with activist judges while defying the constitution everywhere possible)
6. Eliminate the US as a ‘Colonial Power’ (withdraw from Iraq, surrender in Afghanistan, drop our support of Israel, gutting the military, while taking a back seat to NATO and the UN)
“The question that is dumbfounding folks is how does Obama feel the American producers and voters can and will continue to support those who suck money out and redistribute it without the US economic system failing. The answer is that HE DOESN’T. HE FULLY EXPECTS THE SYSTEM TO FAIL AND THE FASTER THE BETTER AFTER SEPTEMBER OF 2012 AND HIS RE-ELECTION. Between now and then he will spend all his resources convincing the moochers that Republicans and rich producers are at fault and to blame and that the only hope for the moochers is to turn to the government for life lines.”
Mom had a question, “BM, what is a moocher?”

Look what Obama-economics have done for minorities. Hispanic unemployment is 12%. For Blacks it is 16%, the same as in the 1929 depression. It is up from 12% when Obama took office. And these numbers are understated. Can you believe it? Jim Hammock always says that Socialism hurts the poor worse than anyone. That’s why he calls it an idiot pitch.”
“Then you have more wealthy groups like gays who have higher average incomes than the rest of the population and still tend to vote for Socialists because of so called ‘gay rights’. Clearly they will pay a heavy economic price for their single issue politics. Same with the wealthier Hispanics who feel they will gain from immigration issues if they have Socialists in office. And the one that boggles my mind the most are the women (Butch never understood women much). Certainly women, and particularly single moms, will suffer the most as many of them support Socialists because they feel they gain somehow by the so called ‘women’s movement’. All these groups will suffer severely from the Obama Socialist agenda.”
Aunt Martha is a watch dog when it comes to large and powerful corporations, “Surprisingly to some, the stupid moochers also include some business people and large companies who are willing participants in capital cronyism in what they feel get them short term gains. General Electric is at the top of the list in selling out to Obama in an attempt to control the energy markets. DOW Chemical and DuPont colluded on Cap and Trade. Companies like Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer stupidly bought into Obamacare. Goldman Sachs writes the regulatory bills for Obama. These companies get what appears to be sweet heart deals, and of course, contribute heavily to Obama’s $1 trillion election war chest. Like the other moochers they will pay heavily in the long term for their roles in destroying the free trade principles that have made this nation great.”
And of course BM closed, “This is the most serious stuff in my lifetime. THE LONG TERM SURVIVAL OF OUR PROSPERITY RESTS ON THE ABILITY OF THESE GROUPS TO GRASP THE BENEFITS OF THEIR INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS IN AN OPEN SOCIETY. The alternative is for them to eat the Socialist Obama dog food believing they can gain special benefits even while those policies are putting the nation in decline. Up is Down, Night is Day, and Obama Will Take Care of the Little People

Scott doesn't suffer fools well, "On Sunday's 'Meet the Press', host David Gregory confronted DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz with the cold hard facts—unemployment is up 25 percent since President Obama's inauguration day, the debt is up 35 percent, a gallon of gas is up 104 percent, and 59 percent of Americans disapprove of the President's handling of the economy. Wasserman Schultz's gleefully replied that, in all likelihood, is still spinning like a top two days later: 'We were able to, under President Obama's leadership, turn this economy around'. While naive Republicans celebrate, the Socialist Democrats are setting the stage to get the idiot vote in 2012."
"Their idiot pitch is clear. The economy would have been even worse without Obama's leadership. Bush and his rich, greedy friends created this mess. The needs of regular folks going forward are huge and may be getting even greater as Obama digs us out of this awful hole. Meanwhile, Obama will safeguard our health care, continue our safety nets including welfare and unemployment checks without change, and defend the rights of our organized labor unions while making the rich pay their fair share. He will not throw old people over cliffs and will eliminate fat kids forever. Those lucky people who are more fortunate will pay with fairer, higher taxes and by being regulated to insure that they cannot destroy our economy even more," these words were obviously weighing heavily on Scott Riddle's heart. He gets like this sometimes when it's not raining that much or when the grasshoppers are eating more of his grass than his cows. Also, don't forget this is the time of year when the Libs at the Hubbard City Drug Store generally blame downtown global warming on the Scott's cow farts (you know that CO2 problem). He gets real cantankerous.
Butch Jackson, local follower of facts and other stuff fired back, "Obviously, first, the economy has not turned around. In a roundtable published by Barron's magazine, 10 money managers and financial market experts were unanimous in their belief that slower economic growth is in store for the second half of 2011. Meanwhile, economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal say that the biggest risk to the U.S. economy’s recovery is a slowdown in hiring. On average, they expect the economy to add just 2.2 million jobs over the next year and this doesn't come close to making up the 3 million jobs lost since the Puppet has been in office. And to make matters worse, some economists are saying the United States is in worse financial shape than Greece when our public debt is added to all the money owed to cover future liabilities in entitlement programs. These are the bankrupted entitlement programs Medicaid, Medicare, and social security that Obama and the Dems will not allow to be fixed."
Butch was on a roll, "If you apply simple logic, if the economy had turned the corner, the President wouldn't need to tour the country to convince America that down is up, night is day, and that he's doing a great job getting people back to work."

The phrase summarizes the principles that in a communist society every person should contribute to society to the best of his or her ability and consume from society in proportion to his or her needs. Instead of building wealth like Ronald Reagan did, Obama wants to redistribute from the producers to the 'unfortunate'. Limbaugh say's this is like trying to increase the depth of water in the shallow end of a swimming pool by taking water out of the deep end of the pool and pouring it into the shallow end. This is wealth redistribution. It doesn't work," Scott came prepared.

They start spending time and money in attempts to avoid the theft of their hard earned wealth. They also slow down their production (production adds water to the swimming pool discussed earlier) since there are few incentives to grow wealth. Remember when producers slow down, jobs go away. On the other hand, the slackers learn that they are competing for handouts from the looters (politicians). How do they compete? By having more needs than the other slackers. They spend more time arguing their cases of need than looking for ways to produce themselves out of poverty. Many times they cheat, lie, and exaggerate to increase their handouts. They work all the heart wrenching themes: children, old age, poor health, prejudice, corrupting politicians, fairness, disabilities, victimization, and of course, class warfare. Meanwhile the looter politicians and union leaders live as a privileged class writing the rules of redistribution in such a way that they and their cronies never get hurt. In the end, the slackers get hurt the most."
Billy Roy would have slammed the table if he had a gavel, "Scott, you couldn't be more right. I just don't believe Americans are stupid enough though to fall for this failed Communist bullshit. Take gasoline prices. Obama as a candidate in 2008 said he understood the needs of American auto drivers. He said that Bush and Cheney's policies of allowing their corrupt oil company buddies to charge outrageous prices for gasoline kept 'regular people from finding jobs because they couldn't afford the price of gasoline to drive to their interviews'. The price of gasoline when Obama took office was $1.87 a gallon. Now his story has changed. With prices now just under $4.00 a gallon Obama's people say they are keeping over 1,000 people a month from dying of carbon emissions because people are driving less. As a bonus alternative fuel products are now more competitive because of rising fossil based fuel prices. High prices are now good for the little guy because it keeps him from choking to death on CO2 and making all fuels expensive like the green stuff. And that guy who couldn't drive to his interview is staying home because there are no jobs. WOW, Obama once again understands real people's needs."
"Today Obama's string puller, Bill Daley, says he feels we are close to reforming both Corporate and Individual Tax Rates to reduce the deficit. Reform is a code word for taking more from producers to protect the slackers. Let's just hope the Republican House members will stand strong. Right now they are our only hope to return to good old fashioned American free enterprise wealth creation."

Believe It Or Not: al Qaeda Joins Obama in Praising Arab Spring
Billy Roy Mitchum came into the Café this week just huffing and puffing, “The White House Puppet, for some strange reason, was sent out to praise what they call the ‘Arab Spring’, that being protests and armed rebellions attempting to overthrow governments in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Obama’s teleprompter directed him to say the following about these uprisings, ‘America respects the right of all peaceful and law-abiding voices to be heard, even if we disagree with them. We look forward to working with all who embrace genuine and inclusive democracy.’ Obama embraced the overthrow of Mubarak in Egypt. Since then the Muslim Brotherhood has grown stronger and stronger, Egypt is threatening to cancel their peace treaty with Israel, and this week they released from prison the murderer of the former strong US and Israel ally, Anwar Sadat.”
"Obama said that while there will be setbacks accompanying progress in political transitions, the movements present a valuable opportunity for the U.S. to show which side it is on. We have a chance to show that America values the dignity of the street vendor in Tunisia more than the raw power of a dictator, he said, referring to the fruit vendor who killed himself in despair and sparked a chain of events that unleashed uprisings around the Arab world. Do you think he really believes this is how it started, and it has nothing to do with Islamic Jihadists?"

Even Mom joined in, “Obama doesn’t care whether these countries are friends, (Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen) or foes of the US (Syria and Iran) he supports the rebellions. How does he claim he is for non-violent democratic protests while we arm and provide air support for the armed rebels in their war against the Libyan government? He is against violence and supports giving Palestine to Hamas based on 1956 boundaries while they continue to vow the total destruction of Israel.”
And then BM went really hostile, “Well, Obama’s handlers aren’t alone in calling for an overthrow of the existing regimes. Ayman al-Zawahri, long the second in command to Osama bin Laden’s al Qaeda, joined Obama this week as he hoped for, ‘a good regime that would expel the Americans and henchmen in Yemen.’ He also, like Obama, supports most of the uprisings as he called for, ‘a revolt against the leaders of Pakistan just as your brothers in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Syria have done.’ Should we be on the same side of the guys that al Qaeda supports? Notice Zawahri doesn’t mention the protests in Iran and Syria. Obama barely mentions them as well.
Butch seems to always come back to Afghanistan maybe because several of Hubbard’s youth are serving in the military, “This is about as strange as Obama wanting to negotiate a peace settlement with the Taliban in Afghanistan so he can claim victory and pull out. And what are the guys he wants to negotiate with saying? The Pakistani Taliban (who is linked closely with the Afghanistan guys) deputy commander of the militant group told The Associated Press, ‘We will fight with new zeal in the wake of Osama bin Laden's death to complete the al-Qaida chief's mission of waging holy war against the West.’ The comments by Waliur Rehman appeared designed to deflate expectations that the May 2 raid by U.S. Navy SEALs that killed bin Laden would slow down insurgent groups allied with or inspired by al-Qaida. You would think that somebody in the “Jeremiah Wright House” would read the Associated Press releases. Last week, the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for a double suicide bombing at a paramilitary police training facility that killed some 90 people, and said it was revenge for bin Laden's death. Obama’s response, let’s negotiate about Afghanistan.”
“This Taliban guy chipped in the following, ‘We have the same target, program and mission," he added. "Our enemies are NATO, Jews and Christians."

Guess What Folks, We Have A Black Problem
This past weekend I was in Galveston, Texas attending a family wedding. An article on the front page of the local news caught my attention, "Community Policing System On Isle Under Scrutiny". In layman terms this means the "Police Chief is catching hell". Since 2008 the city has instituted a community policing program where more officers are put on the streets, encouraging communication, and promoting better response to community concerns. At the heart of the program is aggressive street enforcement of crimes such as prostitution and drug dealing, along with smaller crimes which are many times not enforced such as sidewalk, bicycle, and walking road violations.
This looks like it is right out of the Rudy Giuliani book that cleaned up New York City some years back. Giuliani's first term as mayor, the New York City Police Department adopted an aggressive enforcement/deterrent strategy that involved crackdowns on relatively minor offenses such as graffiti, turnstile jumping, cannabis possession, and aggressive panhandling by "squeegee men", on the theory that this would send a message that order would be maintained. Put policemen on the street enforcing small violations and even murder rates go down. Who would have guessed that discipline really works?
The program has taken crime rates in Galveston to a 30 year low with overall decreases of 30%, and burglaries, robberies, and auto theft down by 60%.
So what is the problem? Oops, statistics show that 64% of the smaller violations resulted in the arrests of blacks. Arrests of Hispanics totaled 9%, and whites 27%. That's a problem, because the ethnic population spread in Galveston is 12% black yet they are committing 64% of the violations, whites are 71% of the population and committing 27% of crimes, and 32% of the population are Hispanics yet they are committing only 9% of the violations (you think they might be busy working and resting up to work some more?). If you could only sweep the reduction in crime rates under the rug this situation is tailor made for the racist welfare pimps to claim discrimination, and of course, to make claims for reparations. The attorneys will more than likely draw swords and spend mucho taxpayer dollars in law suits. This is money that could be better spent in identifying the real causes of black crime and prevention.
A good place to start the search would be to look at unemployment rates, welfare programs that incentivize unemployment, school truancy, and households without fathers. Let's face it, the programs based on the victimization of blacks aren't working. The saddest part of the story is that those being hurt the most are the blacks. No one suffers more from high crime rates than blacks. Human decency cries for us to take a close and honest look at this problem in a loving and constructive way. Let's face it Al Sharpton, Charlie Rangel, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder and crew are not leading us to solutions but only perpetuating their power holds over the black community while intimidating the timid American citizenry to go along with their failed welfare programs for their brainwashed victims of discrimination. It is clear by now that our first black President is just voting "present" when it comes to facing the black problem. Those who put him in office and are pulling the strings do not have this on their agenda.
Just maybe the answer is discipline. Discipline in the homes, then the schools, and then on the streets. All supported by local church organizations and charities. My bet is if you got the federal government looters and welfare pimps out of Galveston's way the locals could take care of their own. Maybe if Galveston did it, Texas would follow. And then maybe even Oakland? Well maybe I am over-reaching. But at least let's leave Galveston alone.

Giuliani's first term as mayor, the New York City Police Department adopted an aggressive enforcement/deterrent strategy that involved crackdowns on relatively minor offenses such as graffiti, turnstile jumping, cannabis possession, and aggressive panhandling by "squeegee men", on the theory that this would send a message that order would be maintained. Put policemen on the street enforcing small violations and even murder rates go down. Who would have guessed that discipline really works?
The program has taken crime rates in Galveston to a 30 year low with overall decreases of 30%, and burglaries, robberies, and auto theft down by 60%.
So what is the problem? Oops, statistics show that 64% of the smaller violations resulted in the arrests of blacks. Arrests of Hispanics totaled 9%, and whites 27%. That's a problem, because the ethnic population spread in Galveston is 12% black yet they are committing 64% of the violations, whites are 71% of the population and committing 27% of crimes, and 32% of the population are Hispanics yet they are committing only 9% of the violations (you think they might be busy working and resting up to work some more?). If you could only sweep the reduction in crime rates under the rug this situation is tailor made for the racist welfare pimps to claim discrimination, and of course, to make claims for reparations. The attorneys will more than likely draw swords and spend mucho taxpayer dollars in law suits. This is money that could be better spent in identifying the real causes of black crime and prevention.
A good place to start the search would be to look at unemployment rates, welfare programs that incentivize unemployment, school truancy, and households without fathers. Let's face it, the programs based on the victimization of blacks aren't working. The saddest part of the story is that those being hurt the most are the blacks. No one suffers more from high crime rates than blacks. Human decency cries for us to take a close and honest look at this problem in a loving and constructive way. Let's face it Al Sharpton, Charlie Rangel, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder and crew are not leading us to solutions but only perpetuating their power holds over the black community while intimidating the timid American citizenry to go along with their failed welfare programs for their brainwashed victims of discrimination. It is clear by now that our first black President is just voting "present" when it comes to facing the black problem. Those who put him in office and are pulling the strings do not have this on their agenda.
Just maybe the answer is discipline. Discipline in the homes, then the schools, and then on the streets. All supported by local church organizations and charities. My bet is if you got the federal government looters and welfare pimps out of Galveston's way the locals could take care of their own. Maybe if Galveston did it, Texas would follow. And then maybe even Oakland? Well maybe I am over-reaching. But at least let's leave Galveston alone.

Obama Fights for Sexual Liberty and Justice For Some
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2011 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. I call upon the people of the United States to eliminate prejudice everywhere it exists, and to celebrate the great diversity of the American people.

And many of you who follow the President closely think that he has ONLY been busy checking out his close Irish relatives, playing golf on Memorial Day, single handedly making the decision to kill bin Laden, saving us from the Abyss, reading 2012 Campaign Teleprompters, celebrating the Arab Spring, and screwing our Israeli Allies. The proclamation above included in great detail the President's support for people who prefer sex with their own sex or both sexes or even make attempts to surgically alter their sex organs. Why does this President care so much about people's sexual apparatus and habits? He says that he is leading,"the American people who will never stop striving toward liberty and justice for all."
Obama's adopted home state of Illinois recently joined the movement against traditional marriage (that would be between one man and one woman) by legalizing civil unions. Today, Illinois will become the sixth state (joining California, Nevada, New Jersey, Oregon, and Washington) to grant same-sex couples virtually every benefit of marriage--except the name. Liberty and justice for all, right? How about orphans? The so-called Illinois Religious Freedom Protection and Civil Union Act has already done more harm to religious freedom than good. The Roman Catholic diocese in Rockford has announced that it will close its doors on the church's adoption program before subjecting children to placement in homosexual homes. Like it did in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C., the Catholic Church refused to violate its convictions. Unfortunately, it's only a matter of time before other dioceses follow suit. For the church, this is an act of self-defense. Without a religious exemption, the law makes programs like this one vulnerable to lawsuits or state budget cuts. Attorney General Holder would love to sue the Catholic Church for discriminating against Gays couples. Much to the frustration of the bill's own sponsor, the state refused to carve out special protections for the religious organizations like this one. And now the state's neediest children will be paying for it in the name of Liberty and Justice for All.
Meanwhile the Obama Justice Department is using our taxpayer money to provide "grants designed to ensure that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender individuals receive comprehensive, quality services and are afforded fundamental legal aid to better address the unique issues faced by this community". Grants also include services for Young Male Victims of Color. This would be like President Bush providing money to support services and legal aid for White Heterosexual Cowboys in West Texas in the name of Liberty and Justice for all.
Why do we care?
Even if our society has accepted the fact that politicians are sleaze bags who will do anything to use our tax money to buy votes to gain their re-election, WHICH I FOR ONE DO NOT ACCEPT AT ALL (CALL ME NAIVE), we should have the good sense to know we are destroying the two most basic foundations for the future of our society. That would be MARRIAGE AND OUR RELIGIOUS HERITAGE.
Some may not care how others have sex and can go along with Obama's "do it your way" campaign. But should that include a "do it your way" marriage and family structure? Can't Obama get his needed votes without destroying marriage, and in doing so, children's lives? Does he have to drive religious institutions out of adoption services and charitable acts?
Study after study shows beyond any question that children who are reared in families with both one father (man) and one mother (woman) and attend church fair better in their educational pursuits, income, freedom from addictions, divorce rates, crime rates, etc., etc., etc. Don't take my word for it. Look at the data. I encourage each of you to go to the following Heritage website and study the facts:

Krauthammer Reports to the Cafe and "The Wright House" Abandons Israel
Charles Krauthammer, the famous political analyst and star of Fox Television made a recent visit to the Hubbard City Café in an attempt to get Billy Roy Mitchum to join the panel on the Special Report with Bret Baier Show. It was the umpteenth time they have approached BM but to no avail. As BM has said time and again, “If I wouldn’t leave Hubbard to go to Nashville, I sure as hell ain’t going to no Washington, D.C.,” subject closed.
BM took the opportunity to ask his old friend Chuck about Israel and Obama, “Who the hell is running the White House? Sometimes I think the folks elected Old Crazy Reverend Jeremiah Wright to the office. Should we change the name to the ‘Wright House’? Our Israel policy looks like it was developed by some militant Muslim Black theologist with a bad case of hate toward the only democracy in the Middle East and the country’s most loyal ally.”
Krauthammer’s answered as only he can, “Every Arab-Israeli negotiation contains a fundamental asymmetry (imbalance): Israel gives up land, which is tangible; the Arabs make promises, which are ephemeral (bullshit). The long-standing American solution has been to nonetheless urge Israel to take risks for peace while America balances things by giving assurances (our word) of U.S. support for Israel’s security and diplomatic needs.
It’s on the basis of such solemn assurances that Israel undertook, for example, the Gaza withdrawal. In order to mitigate this risk, President George W. Bush gave a written commitment that America supported Israel absorbing major settlement blocs in any peace agreement, opposed any return to the 1967 lines and stood firm against the so-called Palestinian right of return to Israel.
For 2 1/2 years, the Obama administration has refused to recognize and reaffirm these assurances. Then last week in his State Department speech, President Obama definitively trashed them. He declared that the Arab-Israeli conflict should indeed be resolved along ‘the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps’.
Nothing new here, said Obama three days later. ‘By definition, it means that the parties themselves — Israelis and Palestinians — will negotiate a border that is different’ from 1967.
It means nothing of the sort. ‘Mutually’ means both parties have to agree. And if one side doesn’t? Then, by definition, you’re back to the 1967 lines.
Nor is this merely a theoretical proposition. Three times the Palestinians have been offered exactly that formula, 1967 plus swaps — at Camp David 2000, Taba 2001, and the 2008 Olmert-Abbas negotiations. Every time, the Palestinians said no and walked away.
And that remains their position today: The 1967 lines. Period. Indeed, in September the Palestinians are going to the United Nations to get the world to ratify precisely that — a Palestinian state on the ’67 lines. No swaps.
Note how Obama has undermined Israel’s negotiating position. He is demanding that Israel go into peace talks having already forfeited its claim to the territory won in the ’67 war — its only bargaining chip. Remember: That ’67 line runs right through Jerusalem. Thus the starting point of negotiations would be that the Western Wall and even Jerusalem’s Jewish Quarter is Palestinian — alien territory for which Israel must now bargain.
The very idea that Judaism’s holiest shrine is alien or that Jerusalem’s Jewish Quarter is rightfully or historically or demographically Arab is an absurdity. And the idea that, in order to retain them, Israel has to give up parts of itself is a travesty.
Obama didn’t just move the goal posts on borders. He also did so on the so-called right of return. (This is the topic Herman Cain did not know on a recent ‘gothcha’ interview.) Flooding Israel with millions of Arabs would destroy the world’s only Jewish state while creating a 23rd Arab state and a second Palestinian state — not exactly what we mean when we speak of a ‘two-state solution’. That’s why it has been the policy of the United States to adamantly oppose this ‘right’.
Yet in his State Department speech, Obama refused to simply restate this position — and refused again in a supposedly corrective speech three days later. Instead, he told Israel it must negotiate the right of return with the Palestinians after having given every inch of territory. Bargaining with what, pray tell?
No matter. ‘The status quo is unsustainable,’ declared Obama, ‘and Israel too must act boldly to advance a lasting peace.’
Israel too ? Exactly what bold steps for peace have the Palestinians taken? Israel made three radically conciliatory offers to establish a Palestinian state, withdrew from Gaza and has been trying to renew negotiations for more than two years. Meanwhile, the Gaza Palestinians have been firing rockets at Israeli towns and villages. And on the West Bank, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas turns down then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s offer, walks out of negotiations with Binyamin Netanyahu and now defies the United States by seeking not peace talks but instant statehood — without peace, without recognizing Israel — at the United Nations. And to make unmistakable this spurning of any peace process, Abbas agrees to join the openly genocidal Hamas in a unity government, which even Obama acknowledges makes negotiations impossible.
Obama’s response to this relentless Palestinian intransigence? To reward it — by abandoning the Bush assurances, legitimizing the ’67 borders and refusing to reaffirm America’s rejection of the right of return.
“It is despicable. Chuck, let me asked the BIG QUESTION, why is Obama abandoning this country’s number one ally?,” questioned BM.
“That is the only remaining question whether this perverse and ultimately self-defeating policy is born of Obama’s genuine hatred of Israel or of the arrogance of a blundering amateur who refuses to see that he is undermining not just peace but the very possibility of negotiations,” fired back Charles.
“In either case, I couldn’t be more ashamed of the current occupant of the Wright House and the folks that put him in office,” a saddened BM closed the conversation.

Memorial Weekend: Our Greatest Debt
Last Saturday night I met with former college buddies. One named David Jackson gave me an update on his son. He is a Lt. Colonel in the Marines who will be going to Afghanistan soon in a major command position over our troops serving there. Amazingly, this soldier's wife is also a serving Lt. Colonel. How about that for a STUD and a STUD-ETTE? What was David’s son biggest worry? That he might lose considerable money on his home here in the states because of our economic situation here at home.
On Sunday my boss, Tommie Sue, and I had lunch at the Hubbard City Cafe (of course) with Mom and Aunt Martha. One of my several "Second Mom's" joined us, Opal Sonnenberg. Opal gave us an update of her grandson who is a Ranger on his way back to the Middle East. Opal knows very few (like none) of the details of his service because of the secret nature of his assignments. Tommie Sue asked Opal, "What is a ranger?" I answered for her, "He is a STUD."
I am amazed at the courage and commitment of our STUDS and STUD-ETTES. These are folks who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America' for any amount, up to and including their life. We owe them a lot, not the least of which is Leadership and Support. As we approach Memorial Day Weekend, beyond that to the year 2012, let's think about our debt. Most of all we owe them a leader. The Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces is the President of the United States, according to Article II, Section 2, Clause I of the Constitution.
In my feeble opinion American citizens owe our military a leader with the following minimum qualifications:
1. A proven track record of leadership, decision making, and experience.
2. An unquestioned loyalty and dedication to the United States of America and to this Republic as defined by our Constitution.
3. A singular focus in protecting the national interest and sovereignty of this nation, first and foremost.
4. A living example for all of those in our service of courage, honesty, integrity, and commitment.
5. A non-political decision maker who risks the lives of our youth only as a last resort and only in the protection of our national interest.
6. A leader of the free world in rallying other nation's to the support of our causes.
It is also my feeble opinion that our service people deserve better than a community organizer with limited elected government experience who appears to support Palestinians over Israelis and the Muslim Brotherhood over former US Allies. A follower who relishes taking a back seat to UN and NATO leadership. An administrator who calls our actions in Libya "kinetic activities" instead of war while circumventing Congress and the War Powers Act. Who turns loose his George Soros controlled media to trumpet HIS courage rather than the brave CIA and Navy Seals who clearly are responsible for the bin Laden mission. Whose international affairs are clearly more driven by his desire for re-election than our national interest. Who in courting the favor of Muslim nations with no success, and who in turn, loses the respect and admiration of free democratic nations throughout the world (a typical Obama we lose, we lose strategy).
In summary, who trusts this Commander in Chief? Who has any idea what his regime will do next in any given situation? Who can we count on when Robert Gates retires and General Patreaus moves to the CIA? Just what does George Soros and crew want from the Puppet President?

Doesn't it seem strange that so many are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops?
Wouldn't it be great if we took the $360,000,000,000 (that's billion) we spend on illegals every year, and spend it on our troops!!!

The Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces is the President of the United States, according to Article II, Section 2, Clause I of the Constitution.
In my feeble opinion American citizens owe our military a leader with the following minimum qualifications:
1. A proven track record of leadership, decision making, and experience.
2. An unquestioned loyalty and dedication to the United States of America and to this Republic as defined by our Constitution.
3. A singular focus in protecting the national interest and sovereignty of this nation, first and foremost.
4. A living example for all of those in our service of courage, honesty, integrity, and commitment.
5. A non-political decision maker who risks the lives of our youth only as a last resort and only in the protection of our national interest.
6. A leader of the free world in rallying other nation's to the support of our causes.
It is also my feeble opinion that our service people deserve better than a community organizer with limited elected government experience who appears to support Palestinians over Israelis and the Muslim Brotherhood over former US Allies. A follower who relishes taking a back seat to UN and NATO leadership. An administrator who calls our actions in Libya "kinetic activities" instead of war while circumventing Congress and the War Powers Act. Who turns loose his George Soros controlled media to trumpet HIS courage rather than the brave CIA and Navy Seals who clearly are responsible for the bin Laden mission. Whose international affairs are clearly more driven by his desire for re-election than our national interest. Who in courting the favor of Muslim nations with no success, and who in turn, loses the respect and admiration of free democratic nations throughout the world (a typical Obama we lose, we lose strategy).
In summary, who trusts this Commander in Chief? Who has any idea what his regime will do next in any given situation? Who can we count on when Robert Gates retires and General Patreaus moves to the CIA? Just what does George Soros and crew want from the Puppet President?
One of our greatest cartoon characters is the little lady named Maxine. The following is one of her very best:
MINORITIES
We need to show more sympathy for these people.
* They travel miles in the heat.
* They risk their lives crossing a border.
* They don't get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every day..
I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans ~
I'm talking about our troops!
Doesn't it seem strange that so many are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops?
Wouldn't it be great if we took the $360,000,000,000 (that's billion) we spend on illegals every year, and spend it on our troops!!!
Let's remember our troops and veterans all 365 days of the year and particularly in November of 2012,
